Sadu is the weaving — black, red and white, worked on a ground loom, and on the UNESCO list because it was nearly lost. The blend takes its structure from the pattern rather than from any single material: warm and slightly dusty at the opening, like wool in sun, then a red thread of spice, then oud running dark underneath the whole thing. It is the most textural piece in the range. Burn it in a room with rugs and it belongs there immediately.
السدو هو النسيج نفسه، بألوانه الأسود والأحمر والأبيض، وينسج على النول الأرضي، وأدرجته اليونسكو لأنه كان مهددًا بالاندثار.
هالخلطة تاخذ بنيتها من نقش السدو، مو من مكوّن واحد بعينه: بداية دافئة وفيها جفاف خفيف، مثل ملمس الصوف تحت الشمس، بعدها يمر خيط أحمر من التوابل، وتحت الكل يمتد العود بنبرة داكنة.
هذي أكثر خلطات المجموعة ثراءً من ناحية الملمس والإحساس.
أشعلها في مكان فيه سجاد، وبتحس إنها تنتمي له من أول لحظة.
